Will there be a 2023-2024 version of the Fitwel VRM?

We are happy to announce that all accounts currently hosting valid v2022-2023 Fitwel Viral Response Module (VRM) certification for entities and the associated Fitwel Viral Response Approved (VRA) assets will automatically receive a full extension of their VRM and VRAs at no charge through December 31, 2024. 

 

What is eligible for this complimentary extension? 

All valid v2022-2023 certified entities and their approved assets will be granted an automatic additional extension through December 31, 2024. 

 

Will I still be able to use my extended VRM for 2023 and 2024 reporting?

Yes, our automatic extension ensures that your VRM entity associated VRA assets will continue to contribute to reporting through December 31, 2024.

 

What action do I need to take if my approvals qualify?

No action is necessary. The extension will be automatically reflected on your account dashboard under the Viral Response section. This extension will appear as of July 21, 2023. If you believe your entity and/or asset should be eligible but isn’t updated, or if you experience a technical issue with the Fitwel Platform, please connect with us and we’ll be happy to look into the matter.

 

Will Fitwel still provide Fitwel VRM decals?

We’ve discontinued the production of Fitwel decals, however, project teams that would like to post VRM decals to their approved assets may download a high-resolution decal production file, following the below design guidelines, and manufacture their own decals from the vendor and in the material of their choice. 

 

Fitwel Viral Response Module (VRM) Decal Guidelines

Fitwel Viral Response Module (VRM) Approved Assets may choose to manufacture and display a decal in order to advertise their asset’s accomplishment. Any assets that wish to create and post a decal may do so under the following conditions:

 

The Fitwel Viral Response decal may only be displayed on assets that have been officially recognized as Asset Approved and awarded certification. Any improper display, including exceeding the decal's stated expiration date, is strictly prohibited and violates Fitwel's Terms of Service.

  • Decals may only be used to showcase an individual asset's Fitwel VRM achievement. 
  • Decals should be posted at main building entrance(s) and/or highly visible external-facing area(s) in order to promote VRM achievement. 

 

Additional graphic guidelines:

  • The Fitwel VRM graphic and logo should always contrast the background to ensure legibility across every application. 
  • Do not distort the graphic file vertically
  • Do not distort the graphic file horizontally
  • Do not move or alter any individual component of the overall graphic file
  • Do not change the color
  • Do not add drop shadow or any other effects
  • Do not use graphic file against dark or distracting imagery

By downloading Fitwel's VRM decal file, I acknowledge my company has achieved Fitwel VRM certification for one or more assets and is interested in manufacturing a decal in order to promote this achievement.
