If you are planning to achieve Fitwel Star Certification in 2026, please refer to the schedule below, noting both the Submission Deadlines and Client Response Deadlines. Submissions that miss these deadlines will be eligible for certification in 2027.
Important Notes:
- The Fitwel Certification Team will begin the review process only after receiving complete project documentation through the Fitwel Platform and confirmation of fee payment.

Both documentation and payment must be submitted by 11:59 PM ET on the applicable deadline.
General Users (16-week typical review timeline)
Initial and Recertification Submission Deadline: August 7, 2026.
Client Response Deadline: October 30, 2026.
Ambassadors (12-week expedited review timeline)
Only projects submitted by an accredited Fitwel Ambassador qualify for expedited review.
Initial and Recertification Submission Deadline: September 4, 2026.
Client Response Deadline: November 13, 2026.
Important Note: Champion Companies and Champion Providers follow a review timeline based on the Submitter type (General User or Ambassador).
Champions+ Companies and Champion+ Providers (12-week expedited review timeline)
Only submissions by registered Champions+ or Providers+ qualify for expedited review.
Initial and Recertification Submission Deadline: September 18, 2026.
Client Response Deadline: November 27, 2026.
Premium Providers (10-week expedited review timeline)
Only submissions by registered Premium Providers qualify for expedited review.
Initial and Recertification Submission Deadline: October 2, 2026.
Client Response Deadline: November 27, 2026.
Recertifications
Projects pursuing recertification will follow the same submission and review timelines as their relevant submitter type (General User, Ambassador, Champion, Champion+, or Premium), as described above.
