What are the 2026 submission deadlines for Fitwel Scale Certification (FSP)?

If your Entity is planning to achieve Fitwel Scale Certification (FSP) in 2026, please refer to the schedule below, noting both the Submission Deadlines and Client Response Deadlines. 

  • FSP Submission deadline: Dec 31, 2026 
    • While there are submission windows throughout the year, this is the hard submission deadline to use Fitwel submissions for 2026 reporting.
  • FSP Client Response deadline: Feb 26, 2027 
    • For Entities looking for an annual Report in June 2027 this is the hard response deadline.
    • For entities that meet this deadline, all assets will be included as part of the peer data set, which will be incorporated into Fitwel's database for the 2026 submission year. 
    • Annual Reports are issued in June 2027. Please refer to the timeline below.

Important Notes:

  • The Fitwel Certification Team will begin the review process only after receiving complete project documentation through the Fitwel Platform and confirmation of fee payment.
  • Both documentation and payment must be submitted by 11:59 PM ET on the applicable deadline.
  • For all portfolios that meet both the Submission and Client Response deadlines, the Fitwel Scale Certification (FSP) will be completed by March 12, 2027.
    • Entities will receive the following certification materials: FSP Entity Letter of Recognition and FSP Asset Certificates.
  • Annual FSP Reports will be issued in June 2027 (next year).

 

Can I submit my FSP Entity earlier than December 31, 2026?

Yes! Fitwel offers four quarterly opportunities throughout the year to submit for FSP Certification:

  • Submission Window #1 - Submission at any time in Q1 (between January 1 through March 31, 2026): Initial Review will begin on April 1, 2026.
  • Submission Window #2 - Submission at any time in Q2 (between April 1 through June 30, 2026): Initial Review will begin in July 2026.
  • Submission Window #3 - Submission at any time in Q3 (between July 1 through September 30, 2026): Initial Review will begin in October 2026.
  • Submission Window #4 - Submission at any time in Q4 (between October 1 through December 31, 2026): Initial Review will begin in January 2027.
