Provide a permanent display advertising local amenities
Rationale: Public displays listing local amenities are useful for wayfinding and encourage exploration of the surrounding area, contributing to increased walking, heightened accessibility, and stronger connections within the community.

Requirements
Demonstrate compliance with one of the options below:
Option 1 - Local Amenities Display (Full Credit):
Provide a display promoting local amenities that demonstrate compliance with all of the following requirements:
- Permanently mount the display on structures such as walls, doors, poles, or stands in a minimum of one high-traffic corridor or community destinations within the site visible to all project occupants.
High-traffic corridors or community destinations may include but are not limited to the following:
– an intersection
– park or plaza(s)
– area(s) of commerce
– civic and/or institutional building(s)
– transit stop(s)
– commercial and/or industrial building(s).
- Ensure the display includes updated community events and information, including:
- community meetings
- voting dates
- maintenance schedules
- cultural events and programming
- healthy food retailers
- health and wellness programming
- local transit choices
- healthcare facilities
- childcare facilities
- community destinations
- community-wide training programs.
Compliance Documentation
Design Pathway
Requirement 1
- Upload an annotated plan(s) showing the proposed location of the display.
- Upload an annotated plan(s) identifying the distance between each display(s) and:
– a main entrance of the farthest building within the site.
– the high traffic corridors or outdoor
– the distance between the planned display(s) and a main building entrance of each regularly occupied building.
Requirement 2
- Upload design drawings showing how the display will detail:
– the qualifying amenities
– community events and information.
Built Pathway
Requirement 1
- Upload annotated photographs showing the display within one of the required locations.
- Upload an annotated plan(s) identifying the distance between each display(s) and:
– a main entrance of the farthest building within the site.
– the high traffic corridors or outdoor
– the distance between the planned display(s) and a main building entrance of each regularly occupied building.
– the location(s) of the display(s).
Requirement 2
