- Ensure that the identified quiet room is located within the building(s).
- Ensure that the quiet room can be locked or shown to be "in use" and is shielded from view of other occupants.
- Ensure that the quiet room is not used for any other purpose.
Retail
- Include a dedicated quiet room within the building(s) that is accessible to all full- and part-time employees and staff within tenant spaces.
- Ensure that the identified quiet room is located within the building(s).
- Ensure that the quiet room can be locked or shown to be "in use" and is shielded from view of other occupants.
- Ensure that the quiet room is not used for any other purpose.
Option 2 - Quiet Communal Room (Partial Credit):
Include a quiet communal space that meets all the following requirements:
Multi-Tenant Retail
- Include a dedicated quiet room within the building(s) that is accessible to all full- and part-time employee occupants within building owner/management spaces, only.
- Ensure that the identified quiet room is located within the building(s).
- Install permanent signage within the communal room communicating to occupants to limit calls, conversations, or other noise-generating activities.
Option 2 - Quiet Room for Building Management Occupants Only (Partial Credit):
Include a quiet communal space that meets all the following requirements:

- Include a dedicated quiet room within the building(s) that is accessible to all full- and part-time employee occupants within building owner/management spaces, only.
- Ensure that the identified quiet room is located within the building(s).
- Ensure that the quiet room can be locked or shown to be "in use" and is shielded from public view.
