Establish and implement an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) plan

Rationale: Developing and implementing an integrated pest management protocol ensures that toxic pesticides are used only when necessary, thereby maintaining effective pest control and associated indoor air quality benefits — such as limiting allergens produced by pests, while also limiting occupant exposure to chemicals that are known to cause severe chronic disease in humans.

Integrated Pest Management Plan (Full Credit):

Demonstrate compliance with the following requirement:

Low-Rise Residential with shared interior spaces (LR+), Low-Rise Residential with no shared interior spaces (LR)

1. Establish and implement an integrated pest management plan for indoor and outdoor spaces within the project that is at least as rigorous as the Fitwel Integrated Pest Management Plan.

   The Fitwel Integrated Pest Management Plan can be found at: https://www.fitwel.org/resources/fitwel-v3.

   Note that the same Integrated Pest Management Plan must apply to all buildings within the project.
