Establish and implement a Water Management Program

Rationale: Developing, implementing and publicizing a comprehensive water management protocol helps ensure drinking water quality and feelings of safety, increasing water consumption and associated nutritional benefits, while decreasing risk of exposure to water pathogens and contaminants.

Requirements

Demonstrate compliance with the option below:

Fitwel Water Management Standard (Full Credit):

The project may achieve credit by demonstrating compliance with the following requirement:    

Low-Rise Residential with shared interior spaces (LR+), Low-Rise Residential with no shared interior spaces (LR)

1. Establish a water management program that is at least as rigorous as the Fitwel v3 Water Management Program Standard.

   The Fitwel Water Management Program Standard can be found at: https://www.fitwel.org/resources/fitwel-v3. 

   Note that the same water management program must apply to all buildings within the project.
