Strategy Insights
- Bike shares that cannot guarantee a bike can be found in the minimum distance do not qualify.
- Bike shares that provide electric bikes must also provide manual bikes in order to qualify.
- Motor vehicles, such as scooters, in lieu of bikes do not qualify.
- There is no minimum number of bikes required.
- For the Alternative Compliance credit, show that shared bicycles are within the project and can be shared out to regular occupants for use at low cost or no cost. The shared bicycles must also include related equipment like helmets or locks.

- The bike share website can be shown as a link to the official website or screenshots of a smartphone app.
