For full strategy and documentation requirements, please refer to the digital scorecard made available on the Fitwel Platform.
Strategy Insights
- Bathroom sinks of any kind, and drinking water fountains with a traditional drinking water faucet, do not qualify.
- Water bottle refilling stations do not need to be located at every accessible water fountain/supply as required in strategy 9.1 Universally Accessible Water Supply; instead, they must be located in the quantity of one per floor.
- Qualifying water bottle refilling supplies may include dispensers, stand-alone water coolers, or taps that are connected to the main building water source and are used for drinking.
