Rationale: Nearby, free, and accessible short-term bicycle parking with adequate capacity results in improved air quality from fewer automobiles on the road, as well as promotes the use of bicycles for transportation and recreation, which is associated with a lowered risk of chronic diseases such as obesity and diabetes.

Demonstrate compliance with all the following requirements:
- Provide short-term bicycle parking that is accessible free of charge to the public.
- Provide the number of short-term bicycle parking spaces based on the below:
- For projects that meet the requirements of the "Dedicated Bicycle Parking" strategy, provide short-term bicycle parking equivalent to 1% of the number of all project occupants.
- For all other projects, provide short-term bicycle parking equivalent to 3.5% of the number of all project occupants.
- Locate the short-term bicycle parking on-site within 1/4 mile or 400 meters walking route of a main building entrance(s) of all regularly occupied buildings within the project.
