Establish and implement health programming and services for occupants

Rationale: Developing, implementing, and publicizing comprehensive health programs and services helps increase access to reliable stress support, fitness, nutrition, and other healthcare services, mitigating risks of infectious and chronic diseases.

Requirements

Demonstrate compliance with one of the options below:

Option 1 - Three Unique Health Programming and Services (Full Credit):

Demonstrate compliance with all the following requirements:

1. Establish and implement a protocol for health programming and services that is at least as rigorous as sections 1, 2, and 4 of the Fitwel Specialized Health Programming and Services Protocol. The Fitwel Specialized Health Programming and Services Protocol can be found here. 
2. Provide three unique types of health programs or services as detailed under section 3 of the Fitwel Specialized Health Programming and Services Protocol.
3. Provide health programming and services for all building(s) occupants.

Option 2 - Two Unique Health Programs and Services (Partial Credit):

The project may achieve partial credit by demonstrating compliance with all of the following requirements:

1. Establish and implement a protocol for health programming and services that is at least as rigorous as sections 1, 2, and 4 of the Fitwel Specialized Health Programming and Services Protocol. The Fitwel Specialized Health Programming and Services Protocol can be found here. 
2. Provide two unique types of health programs or services as detailed under section 3 of the Fitwel Specialized Health Programming and Services Protocol.
3. Provide health programming and services for all building(s) occupants.

Option 3 - Health Programming and Services for Residents Only (Partial Credit):

The project may achieve partial credit by demonstrating compliance with all of the following requirements:

1. Establish and implement a protocol for health programming and services that is at least as rigorous as sections 1, 2, and 4 of the Fitwel Specialized Health Programming and Services Protocol. The Fitwel Specialized Health Programming and Services Protocol can be found here. 
2. Provide three unique types of health programs or services as detailed under section 3 of the Fitwel Specialized Health Programming and Services Protocol.
3. Provide health programming and services for all resident occupants.

Option 4 - Virtual Health Programs and Services (Partial Credit):

The project may achieve partial credit by demonstrating compliance with all of the following requirements:

1. Establish and implement a protocol for virtual health programming and services that is at least as rigorous as sections 1, 2, and 4 of the Fitwel Specialized Health Programming and Services Protocol.

2. Provide virtual access to three unique types of health programs or services as detailed under section 3 of the Fitwel Specialized Health Programming and Services Protocol.

3. Provide virtual health programming and services for all building(s) occupants.

4. Publicize the virtual health programming and services to all building(s) occupants through one of the following:
   – official communications, such as regular newsletter emails or tenant manual 
   – a building or project-specific digital application or website
   – signage in common areas or outside of buildings visible to all building(s) occupants.
