Establish and implement a hazardous waste management plan

Rationale: A policy that addresses safe collection, storage, transportation, and disposal of common types of hazardous waste reduces toxic chemical exposure for immediate occupants and those who handle waste throughout the supply chain, which decreases the risk of associated neurological, respiratory, immune, and other disorders.

Requirements

Demonstrate compliance with the below:

Hazardous Waste Management Plan - (Full Credit):

To achieve full credit, demonstrate compliance with the following requirement:

1. Establish and implement a hazardous waste management plan that is at least as rigorous as the requirements of the Fitwel Hazardous Waste Management Plan.
2. Share the policy with tenants through either relevant leases or a tenant manual.
