Provide proper ventilation in kitchens
Rationale: Effective kitchen ventilation at low loudness levels removes pollutants such as airborne grease, combustion products, fumes, smoke, heat, and steam, contributing to reduced risk of respiratory issues such as lung cancer, bronchitis, wheezing, and asthma, while maintaining interior acoustic comfort.
For the most accurate strategy and documentation requirements, please refer to the digital scorecard made available on the Fitwel Platform.
