Demonstrate compliance with all of the following requirements:
- Install exterior sourced lighting that allows for even illumination in all of the following outdoor areas on-site:
- pathways
- outdoor spaces
- bicycle paths
- outdoor parking areas
- all main building entrances
- all side building entrances
- pedestrian entrances from parking areas
- transit or shuttle stops.
- Ensure that lighting is pedestrian scale that improves visibility and improves perceptions of safety through the following:
– minimize glare through light shields to improve visibility for pedestrians
– install lighting that is specifically designed for pedestrian areas
– ensure consistent lighting along all pedestrian paths
