• Fitwel Building Scorecard Visualization: Multi-Tenant Base Building (MTBB)

All scorecards seek to improve the health outcomes and quality of life of occupants within the project boundary, as well as doubly improve health outcomes of the surrounding community. We visualize the application of Fitwel’s building scorecard products in order to highlight the areas under and outside of consideration when applying Fitwel. As a rule, regularly occupied areas per scorecard are the focus of certification, and additional interior and exterior features, including those located offsite but within qualifying distance, can be levered to improve the health of occupants and, in turn, maximize a Fitwel rating.

Multi-Tenant Base Building Scorecards are applicable to commercial buildings whose floors and common areas are occupied by multiple tenants. This Scorecard impacts the spaces that are under the control of the building owner/manager, including common areas accessible to tenants, and building owner/manager spaces accessible to onsite staff.

Occupant Impact:

• All on-site full- and part-time employees and staff within building owner/manager spaces, including on-site staff under direct employment by the building owner and sub-contracted staff.

Areas of Impact:

• All interior spaces on all floors of the building, including spaces under the control of the building owner/manager, common elevator banks and restrooms on tenant-occupied floors controlled by owner/manager.
• All building management workspaces used by property management or owner, receptionist, security, maintenance, engineers, building staff, including shared areas accessible to on-site occupants employed by building owner/manager.
• All on-site exterior spaces accessible to occupants such as parking, courtyards, rooftops, etc.
