Step 2: Using Fitwel Building Scorecards

Certifying with a building scorecard will assess all spaces within the building footprint, including outdoor and indoor areas, units, tenant spaces, parking garages, common areas and base building areas, which are all areas under the control of building owner/manager. Building scorecards result in the certification of a single building and/or tenant space within a building, depending on the product used.

Types of Building Scorecards:

• Workplace (WP), includes 4 applications depending on the workplace type:
• Single Tenant Buildings (ST)
• Multi-Tenant Whole Building (MTWB)
• Multi-Tenant Base Building (MTBB)
• Commercial Interior Space (CI)
• Retail (RT), applicable to single tenant retail establishments and enclosed multi-tenant retail complexes
• Multifamily Residential (MFR)
• Senior Housing (SH), applying to both residents of Active Living, Assisted Living, and Memory-Care (MCC) facilities, as well as employees within these spaces
